New Lighting Arrangement

Lighting arranged to define the voronoi shapes. More lighting around the smaller voronoi's and gradually getting less as the voronoi's get bigger, conveying the idea of density.

Proposed Design

1:1 Prototype

A 1:1 section of what the structure is going to look like. The use of steel as the main structural element, the polypropylene extruding out at various levels connected by cable ties.

Panelling System

Panels which have been created on rhino. These are made of polypropylene plastic that are connected via cable tie tot he supporting steel structure.

Various ways of connecting the polyproplyene to the wrought iron with the use of the cable ties.

Use of Materials

Playing with the use of different materials for the exterior. Polypropylene tube being our chosen material

Main Structual Element

Mild steel being our main structural element. Constructed out of 20mmx0.3mm flat, connected together through the use of welding. The iron is not painted just left in its original charcoal colour only with it buffered with a grinder which gives it a shinny effect.
